INJURIES, it seems, aren’t necessarily bad news as far as Colin Ackermann is concerned.
The South African ended the first day of Leicestershire’s championship match against Middlesex on 151 not out – meaning he had scored 193 runs without being dismissed since being diagnosed with an avulsion break in his finger, incurred while batting against Northamptonshire in the Foxes’ previous championship match.
