KP in talks with Fleming to extend brief to Ashes

IT SEEMS Kevin Pietersen’s return to the England set-up could extend beyond white-ball cricket as he has revealed that he has held talks with new Test head coach Stephen Fleming about potentially helping the side ahead of next summer’s Ashes.
Pietersen was appointed as England’s specialist white-ball mentor earlier this month, with his primary brief taking him through to the 2027 World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
