Robin Das charged with rape

ESSEX BATTER Robin Das, 24, has been charged with two counts of rape. He was charged on July 23 and is due to appear at Inner London Crown Court on 9 October. He was arrested on August 27 last year after reports of a woman being raped in Brixton, south London, on 30 March, 2024.
The Metropolitan Police said the woman continues to be supported by specialist officers.
Essex confirmed that Das has been suspended since the charges were brought and said the alleged incident took place outside club activities. The county added that it had remained in contact with the ECB, PCA, Cricket Regu...
