ON THURSDAY, Altrincham Grammar and John Hampden Grammar contested the first-ever Boys Knight-Stokes Cup at Lord’s. Having emerged from a field of nearly 800 schools through county and national rounds, the two sides produced an absorbing contest in front of interested observers, proud parents and schoolmates.
