Kevin Pietersen has always been a master of the ‘switch hit’ and now he’s bringing that same boundary-pushing energy to his content squad.
In a powerhouse partnership with Tech giant Google, Pietersen aims to redefine how the global stadium experiences cricket, using YouTube as his digital home ground and Google Gemini as his creative companion.

As he launches new high-octane content for his channel, ‘The Switch | Kevin Pietersen’, KP navigates his evolution from athlete to world-class creator with Gemini helping him elevate his content while adding a layer of creative play to every episode.
“Today, The Switch is partnering with Google Gemini to redefine how cricket is experienced by fans around the world,” Pietersen announced.
“YouTube is the epicentre of cricket fandom – it’s where the game lives, breathes and connects people globally – and The Switch sits right at the heart of that.”

The all-rounder teammate
To ensure every interview is as precise as a Yorker, Pietersen relies on Gemini for research and scripting.
Throughout the series, Gemini will be leveraged as a creative engine – generating custom player cards, composing fun anthems, and building interactive quizzes for the viewers to enjoy.
“Gemini has become a real creative teammate for me – it allows us to move faster, think bigger, and give fans something they haven’t see before,” the former England captain added.
“For me, this is about pushing the boundaries of how cricket is shared and experienced”.
Beyond the camera, Gemini can also distill complex match stats into clear insights and organise a global travel schedule.
By handling the heavy lifting of the daily grind, Gemini lets KP focus on fine-tuning his vision while supporting the fast-paced life of a global creator.
Viewers of the Indian Premier League may have noticed Google’s AI-powered technology integrated into live feeds to enhance broadcast production, following a multi-year sponsorship deal as an official premier partner, providing further in-depth analysis and insights into a range of match elements.
