One-day focus is costing us

IT APPEARS that England’s focus in one-day cricket has had a detrimental effect on the Test team.
It’s obvious from a spectator’s point of view that our cricket authorities are not interested in spectacle, only £s.
How does the ECB/MCC expect to maintain interest in Test cricket if international series are so biased towards the home nation?
Obviously we (speaking for all nations) want to win but how is that going to be possible within a sport that is played throughout the year in different conditions?
Let’s have universal pitches and a universal ball!
