Ex-skipper moves to biggest rivals

A NEW signing can bring excitement to any club and if you can pinch that player from your nearest rivals, then all the better.
After the likes of Jason Jakeman and Sam Smart made the move from Bedworth to Nuneaton last summer, Bedworth have now got their revenge – signing their rivals’ former skipper Lee McNeill.
McNeill led Nuneaton to the Warwickshire Premier Division title last summer and current Bedworth captain Scott Friswell is excited to now have the handy bowler as an ally, rather than enemy.
