Epic finding for Carlisle

ROMAN treasure has been discovered at Carlisle, as part of survey work for a proposed new pavilion.
The find at the North Lancashire & Cumbria Premier League club includes a well-preserved bathhouse used by a Roman cavalry unit as well as coins, pottery and arrow heads.
Those in charge of the dig say it is of national significance and could rival historic attractions in cities such as London and York.
