THE INAUGURAL women’s ICC Champions Trophy set to take place in Sri Lanka next year has been moved from June to February. The competition is set to be an eight-team tournament and was first announced back in 2022.
A new version of the Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy is also set to take place later this year as a 10-team tournament featuring five full ICC members and five associates. The first edition of the tournament, played last year, was won by Thailand.
