This T20 Blast season will be different in every sense for Hampshire captain James Vince.
But whatever happens, he insists one thing will definitely be the same. If the county reach Finals Day at Edgbaston in September, he’ll be there.
“Absolutely,” he says, when The Cricket Paper asks him if he’ll return from his new base in Dubai for the T20 season’s denouement in the Midlands.
In the meantime, Hampshire’s supporters will hope his preparation for this season will leave him perfectly placed to rack up the runs and deliver the county a fourth Blast title.
