I got an award at my local cricket club when I was 13 for hitting 50mph. I knew I was quicker than most other girls I’d played with but it was nice to receive recognition that others thought the same. Back then, if I bowled at the stumps I knew I was going to be successful, but getting it accurate was the hard thing!
