Tearing it up: Sussex star Charlie Tear shows a different gear

Charlie Tear was a man in a hurry on Sunday as he tore into the Northamptonshire bowling to smash 159 off just 146 balls to register his maiden hundred for the senior team.

It was short and sweet for a player who just two months ago had demonstrated his insatiable appetite for runs by scoring 317 not out in almost nine hours for the county’s second XI against Leicestershire at Horsham.
