SUSSEX batsman Luke Wright has called time on his County Championship career after signing a white-ball only deal with the county.
The 34-year-old, capped over 100 times by England in the limited-overs formats, believes the decision will help to prolong his career.
“I worked hard on my red-ball cricket over the winter, but once it became clear that I was going to have a lesser role in the four-day team, it made sense for me to commit my long-term future to the white-ball game only,” Wright said.
