SAM BODOANO from Surrey ran 62 miles (100km) starting at Lord's on Saturday and finishing by bowling the opening ball of a match to his father at Valley End CC in Woking on Sunday. His 14-hour run raised almost £6,000 for The Ruth Strauss Foundation cancer charity.
He told the BBC: "I'm very tired, I lost a lot of sleep, but it was all for an amazing cause.”
