LONGRIDGE spinner Jake Durnell claimed his maiden first XI fivefor last weekend and has now set his sights on reeling in Northern Premier Cricket League leaders Blackpool.
The 17-year-old claimed 5-9 from just three overs to spark a dramatic Chorley collapse, with the visitors dismissed for 129 after Joshua Mullin’s 90 had led Longridge to 170-8.
Durnell is enjoying his first season in the top tier and hopes there could be further twists and turns to come in the title race.
