I’d never been to Australia, the tour all England fans dream of. And here I was, mid-December, flights booked but not even looking forward to my trip of a lifetime.
Inevitably, the urn was gone, three down with two to play. Snookered.

First Test: Brisbane
November 23-27, Australia won by 10 wickets

Smooth sandpaper boys Bancroft and Warner broke the record for the highest unbeaten opening stand in a successful run chase in a Test match. I imagine they cheated.
