JOSH HAZLEWOOD and Mark Wood are both expecting to play domestic firstclass cricket in preparation for the upcoming Ashes series Down Under.
Hazlewood featured in five of Australia’s six white-ball matches against South Africa over the last month, having previously not featured in the T20I series against the West Indies in order to manage his workload.
Hazlewood’s intention is to maintain his level of bowling fitness and get overs in his legs ahead of the first Test in Perth starting on November 21.
