Opportunity: State schools will be competing for the chace to play at Lord’s in 2026

THE MCC announced its plans for a state schools only competition this week in response to the recommendations outlined in the 2023 ICEC report.
The competition is named in honour of Ben Stokes and Heather Knight, both state educated captains of the national side. It will be sponsored by Barclays and supported by the Black Heart Foundation.
