Backworth Cricket Club in Northumberland recently became the first club in the North East to receive beacon club status as an LGBTQ+ inclusive club.
To celebrate this and Pride Month, they held a game last weekend against a No Boundaries CC XI, an organisation championing and enabling diversity and inclusion in cricket.
