DAWID Malan may be in the form of his life but he’s happy to let other people talk up his chances of an England recall this summer.
Malan was the hero of England’s last Ashes campaign Down Under in 2017-18 when he finished top scorer with 383 runs at 42.55. One of only three England centurions that series, he withstood a fearsome pace barrage from Australia’s quick bowlers at Perth to hit a brave 140 in almost fiveand- a-half hours.
