Applications for state secondary schools to enter the new competition will close on October 31
The Knight-Stokes Cup, launched by MCC and the MCC Foundation, is a new hard-ball competition for state secondary schools starting in 2026.
Schools across the UK and the Republic of Ireland can enter a boys’ and girls’ under-15s team to compete in the tournament, with winners progressing to regional and then national knockout matches played at county-standard venues, before the finalists play at Lord’s next summer.
