Headingley is the land of Hope and glory now for Windies

AS STUNNING as this turnaround from West Indies was following their humiliation at Edgbaston a week earlier, England know it wouldn’t have been possible without their own shortcomings being brutally exposed.
Credit for that must clearly go to West Indies, who defied history to pull off a stunning final-day chase of 322 thanks to the brilliance of Shai Hope’s historic unbeaten 118.
No team other than the great Australians of 1948, Don Bradman’s Invincibles, have chased down more to win a Test at Headingley.
