ZIMBABWE made amends for their poor showing against Bangladesh by putting Sri Lanka to the sword in the second match of the Dhaka Tri-Nations series.
The hosts crushed Graeme Cremer’s side under the weight of their economical bowling, as Zimbabwe mustered a run rate of just 3.46 on their way to being bowled out for 170 after 49 overs.
Tamim Iqbal struck an unbeaten 84 to lead Bangladesh home with 21 overs to spare and complete a one-sided affair.
