PADDY Upton has previous in the IPL – and now he’s hoping that Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes can help him carve out a successful future for the Rajasthan Royals.
The South African coach, who won the Big Bash with Sydney Thunder in 2016, has been handed the reins at Rajasthan after a previous stint as head coach there.
Now, after a year out and with batteries recharged, he’s champing at the bit to return to a T20 competition that still stands above the rest in terms of prestige and financial might.
