WEST INDIES batting legend Brian Lara says he is “fit and fine” after he was taken to hospital in India with chest pains.
The 50-year-old was given the all-clear and discharged from a hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Lara is in India to perform media duties during the World Cup but underwent an angiography after admitting to “extending himself” in the gym.
“He was discharged at 12:00pm (06.30 GMT). His condition is normal,” said hospital spokesman Parag Dhurke. “His health is good.”
