Australian cricketers are well accustomed to going about their business to a cacophony of boos, particularly in this febrile, unmissable Ashes series. But not many have had to do so while copping stick from their own fans. That was the unenviable position Mitchell Marsh found himself in during the 2018 Boxing Day Test against India when a section of the MCG crowd let it be known in no uncertain terms that they didn’t think he should be representing his country.
