Moores not so merry as rain dampens Notts treble hopes

THERE was frustration for Peter Moores on Wednesday – he insisted his NOTTS team would have beaten LEICESTERSHIRE had the weather not intervened at Grace Road.
The Outlaws, who have hopes of a treble having already won the One-Day Cup and currently topping County Championship Division Two, had made a massive 210-8 from their 20 overs, with Riki Wessels (63 off 37 balls) and Alex Hales (51), who made a century in a thrilling five-wicket win over YORKSHIRE on Sunday, doing the damage.
