Curran picks up where he left off to boost Surrey

SAM CURRAN returned from England’s bubble to lead Surrey’s charge on the opening day against Kent. Three defeats from three Bob Willis Trophy matches has made for dismal reading for Surrey but their bid to stop the rot started on a positive note at The Oval. Kent eased their way to 75-1 after lunch but were pegged back by three wickets in six overs, two of which went to the left-arm seamer.
