HEINO Kuhn made history by hitting the first century of the Bob Willis Trophy as Kent took command of their opening South Group match against Essex.
The 36-year-old South African reached the milestone off 167 balls and finished on 140 not out to put Kent in the driving seat having slipped to 23-3 in the first 20 minutes in Chelmsford.
