VERY sad news yesterday to hear that Toby Roland-Jones has been ruled out for the rest of the 2018 campaign – I’m absolutely gutted for him.
It was no surprise to me that Toby made such an easy transition to the international stage last Autumn, taking 5-57 on his Test debut against South Africa at The Oval and going on to claim 17 wickets in his first four Test matches for England before suffering the stress fracture which ruled him out of the Ashes series against Australia.
