Oh, James Vince! A batsman of elegance and grace in this age of artisan nurdlers and muscle-bound bashers, but one who forever gets out when he’s going well. He finished in New Zealand with 76, started in England with 75. Very Vince-like scores, both of them, but tending to stand out among the 18s and 27s.
