After what has been the longest and most arduous of winters in memory, it’s back! The County Championship season is upon us once again and about time too!
First Ashes disappointment then the ball-tampering scandal, the return of cricket in its purist form and played in our own back yards, it simply can’t come soon enough.
Editing these pages in my first season with The Cricket Paper has served as a welcome reminder – as if I needed one – of just how much the County Championship means to us all.
