JIMMY ADAMS showed just why he remains Hampshire’s main man at the age of 37 with a scintillating knock in his side’s rain-affected match with Cardiff MCCU at the Ageas Bowl.
Adams – approaching his 18th and last season of the County Championship at the south coast club – smashed four sixes and 26 fours in a blistering 182 not out as Hampshire enjoyed some valuable time at the crease.
