Blow: Haseeb Hameed

HASEEB Hameed is set for more time on the sidelines with a fractured finger having been hit on the hand in Lancashire’s defeat to Middlesex.
Hameed, 20, suffered a broken finger on his left hand which ended his involvement in last winter’s Test tour of India, but this one, which was inflicted by James Harris, is on his right hand.
The batsman was sent for a scan after retiring hurt, which revealed a fracture, though he did return to the field as a No11, though it was not enough to save the game for the Red Rose.
