GLOUCESTERSHIRE will welcome a T20 World Cup winner for the Blast with Sri Lankan Thisara Perera joining the ranks at Bristol.
All-rounder Perera hit the winning runs in the World T20 final in 2014 and has made 56 appearances in the shortest format for his country.
The 28-year-old has a wealth of T20 experience having recently played for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash and has scored runs and taken wickets in the Caribbean Premier League and Indian Premier League.
