IN NEWS from the past week or so that you may have missed, Sam Curran will miss the IPL with a groin injury that has ruled him out of his stint with Rajasthan Royals.
MEANWHILE, NEW Zealand’s captain Amelia Kerr hit an unbeaten 179 off 139 balls against South Africa in Wellington, helping her side ace the highest successful run chase, 347, in women’s ODI history. The previous highest chase was when India made 341-5 chasing Australia’s 338 in their World Cup semi-final last October.
