Record: Tim Seifert equalled the CPL’s fastest hundred

NEW ZEALAND international Tim Seifert smashed a 40-ball century for St Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League against Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, equalling Andre Russell’s fastest ton.
His 40-ball hundred is the joint-fastest in CPL history, along with Russell, who had made a century in as many balls back in 2018. Playing for Jamaica Tallawahs against the Trinbago Knight Riders, Russell smashed 121 not out in 49 balls after his team had been reduced to 41-5 in the run chase of 224.
