Normal service resumed Down Under as the Aussies dominated England to secure their second 5-0 whitewash in three home series.
While there were no losses by an innings this time around, the summer series win felt like a distant memory as Mitchell Johnson was at his terrifying best, taking 37 wickets at an average below 14.
Jonathan Trott left the tour after the first Test and Graeme Swann retired midseries, leaving a young England team to continue the fight.
