YORKSHIRE head coach Andrew Gale got his man in Mark Stoneman – and it didn’t take long for him to make his mark for the White Rose.
Stoneman has joined the Vikings on loan from Surrey for the T20 Blast campaign.
And he wasted no time in introducing himself, smashing 50 from 31 balls as Yorkshire racked up 224-3 against Northants.
Gale said: “We felt we needed to add a top order batsmen for the latter stages of the group to help keep up the momentum. Mark Stoneman certainly fits the bill.”
