SAMIT PATEL insists he has no plans to retire from first-class cricket despite endking his 22-year association with Nottinghamshire.

Since beginning his journey at Trent Bridge as a 14-year-old – making his senior debut two years later – the all-rounder has racked up nearly 21,000 runs and 700 wickets across 629 games for the club.
