LONDON Spirit hammered Welsh Fire in the final group game in Cardiff, but missed out on reaching the latter stages due to an inferior run-rate.Having limited Fire to 95-9, Spirit needed to reach the target in 41 balls to make the eliminators and knock out Birmingham Phoenix.Captain Heather Knight cracked an unbeaten on 34 off 19 balls but Spirit were 33 short of their target within the time frame.
