ENGLAND HAVE appointed former Ashes-winning batter Kevin Pietersen to their white-ball coaching team ahead of the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Pietersen, 46, will join as a specialist mentor, beginning with England’s upcoming T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. He will also work with the teams during this winter’s tours of Australia and South Africa, before returning for next summer’s home series against Pakistan and New Zealand and the World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
