Until two days ago Jofra Archer had not bowled a ball in Test cricket for four years, a litany of injuries keeping him from the fray.
But some things are worth staying patient for and Archer’s searing pace from a high action is one of them – its value immediately apparent when he took a wicket with his third ball back in the big time.
