AMIR JANGOO and Roston Chase set a new record for the highest Test partnership for the sixth wicket. Jangoo and Chase shattered several records on the third day of the first Test against Sri Lanka, at North Sound in Antigua. The duo created a world record, adding a staggering 401 runs for the sixth wicket as West Indies posted 626-9 declared.
With their marathon stand, Jangoo and Chase broke the Test record for the sixth wicket, previously held by Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow. The England pair had stitched 399 runs together against South Africa in Cape Town back in 2016.
