MICKEY ARTHUR is backing Mohammad Abbas to provide the missing piece in Derbyshire’s Division Two promotion puzzle – and reckons if you were going to clone one cricketer to play domestic cricket in England, the Pakistan swing king would be the ideal man. The former Australia coach is now one of the longest-serving coaches in the County Championship, having taken over from Dave Houghton in the winter of 2021.
