I’VE watched a lot of cricket since it restarted after lockdown and after taking in the Wisden Trophy, it is clear that the radio coverage is the broadcast winner.
This is due to the exemplary commentary from the team, along with their post-match chat. Watch cricket on television and you get the impression that the commentators do not want to be there. Their slow and deliberate commentary is just not very entertaining.
