TOWHID HRIDOY broke multiple records with his 350 not out for Bangladesh A against South Africa A at Potchefstroom. Towhid scored an unbeaten 350 to register the highest first-class score by an overseas batter in South Africa, breaking England legend Denis Compton’s long-standing record of 300. He became only the third Bangladeshi to score a triple-hundred in first-class cricket and is also the first from the nation to score a triple-century away from home. His score is also the highest ever first-class score by a Bangladeshi batter.
