JAMES HOPES has been appointed the new head coach of Queensland’s men’s set-up, including the Brisbane Heat in the BBL, following the late withdrawal of former Australia captain Tim Paine. The move comes less than two months after Hopes was named Sydney Sixers’ coach, but a return to his home state was reportedly too good of an offer for the former Australia white-ball all-rounder to turn down.
