OK then, I will take Adam Hollioake’s tongue-in-cheek advice and declare that Kent’s dramatic improvement in form (until Friday night!) is wholly, solely and categorically down to the club’s decision to suspend comments on their social media accounts.
When the move was announced on 1 May, they had registered one innings defeat and two draws in the opening three rounds of the Championship.
