Big step: Herts played their inaugural VI cricket match

HERTFORDSHIRE VISUALLY impaired team, Hertfordshire Comets, played their first ever game against another county last week.
The opponents were Berkshire Stags, with players from VI side Metro Devils helping to make up the numbers. Berkshire won convincingly, but the game was an exciting first step for VI cricket across Hertfordshire.
The game was played at Hemel Hempstead Town as part of the club’s Cricket Week marking their 175th anniversary.
